Plastics & Rubber – a Booming Industry in Vietnam!
The fastest growing ASEAN economy will welcome PLASTICS & RUBBER VIETNAM 2010 at the brand new Saigon Exhibition and Convention Centre (SECC) located only 15 minutes from the centre of Ho Chi Minh City and 30 minutes from Tan Son Nhat International Airport. The SECC is an international standard facility capable of satisfying the requirements of national and international conventions, large scale public and trade exhibitions, corporate meetings and specialised events.
Host country Vietnam is rising in prominence as a global manufacturing center. Its plastics and rubber industries are transforming rapidly to serve an increasingly diversified industrial base. Despite a turbulent global economy, Vietnam’s economy is forecast to grow at 4.0% in 2009, recovering further to 6.5% in 2010. The National Assembly has set its sights higher with a targeted GDP growth rate of 6.5% for 2009. The export growth target for 2009 has been set at 13%. |
